Pete Seeger released 28 songs and stories about animals on 2 short LP records in 1955 to an enthusiastic audience. Ever since, they have been sung by generations of parents, grandparents & children. These 2 original LP's have been combined on this single Smithsonian Folkways CD creating a wonderful collection of songs to sing along with, to draw pictures about, to play hand games to, and to be enjoyed by the entire family.

Kingston RI, Fri. July 6 - We will be taking part in another performance of "The Fire & the Hammer" - which Peter organized & we both took part in at New England Yearly Meeting last August.  The final evening plenary of the 2012 Friends General Conference summer gathering.  Detailed information on the performance & how to apply to join the choir is posted now on the FGC website.
